05 Mar Sympathy Tulips
Today’s card is a first for me because it’s my very first Sympathy Card. For this card I chose another Alex Syberia digital stamp, Tulip Close-Up. I printed the image onto Spectrum Noir Paper and colored it with Copic Markers and Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils. I sprayed the colored image with Iridescent Glitter Dust, of course, and then used a Takura, Quickie Glue Pen and applied Heather, Art Glitter to add a little Bling to parts of the Tulips.
Next, I used black glossy cardstock and Fairway, Stardream Metallic 81-lb text cardstock to double mat the image. Then I mounted it on a card base created using Crystal, Stardream Metallic 105-lb Cover cardstock.
For the outside sentiment I used “With Sympathy” from the You Are Everything, Betterpress plate. I hot foiled it with Glimmer, Black Hot Foil and cut it out with its corresponding diecut. I mounted it to the card front using foam dimensionals.
The card’s inside sentiment is from the Iris-Inspired Stamps , Sympathy Set and is pictured below. I stamped it with Onyx Black, Versafine Ink and used Judikins, Clear Detail embossing powder to emboss it. The inside card sentiment is pictured below:

That’s it for today. Until next time,
Stamp Yourself Happy!
