09 May Electric Guitar Birthday
Today I’m revealing the Day #5 card of seven. My brother is ultra-talented. In fact, he has so many talents that it does not seem fair. He recently has taken up playing the electric guitar and I found this SVG diecut on ETSY and thought it would make a great easel card.
This SVG file, like the Saxophone on the card from Day #1, was also created by MagicVectorLaser. I adapted the file so I could cut it out with my Silhouette Cameo. It was a little more challenging to put together because I wanted to make the elements within it different colors. Once I worked that out and cut each layer it came together without much difficulty.
The hand is cut from Bronze Stardream Metallic 105lb cover cardstock, the electric guitar is cut from blue mirror/foil cardstock, and the black elements on the guitar were cut from black glossy/mirror cardstock, and the guitar strings and trim were cut from sliver glitter paper.
I also used my Silhouette to create the easel card front and cut the “Happy Birthday” sentiment into it. Then I cut out the letters using black glossy/mirror cardstock and inserted them in the card’s front. The sentiment on the easel stopper is from the Iris-Inspired Stamps, Birthday Set.

Before I go, I want to give a “Shout Out” to my design collaborator, my 87yo Dad who gave his opinion on which paper to use for the image frame. He made the right call. Thanks Dad!
Until Next Time,
Stamp Yourself Happy!
