Ten years ago I started a Card Blog and called it “Tangible-Treasures”. What began with a make-and-take at a scrapbook store, when I made my first card, has grown into a decade long passion, a small business, and my own stamp line.
The name “Tangible-Treasures” highlights what every card-maker already knows, it’s all about the card.
the card. A handmade card should be a treasured gift.
“Tangible-Treasures” strives to produce one-of-a-kind creations that honor, encourage, and relay love from the presenter to the recipient. Cards that no one would want to throw away but rather cherish them forever.
Iris-Inspired Stamps
Making cards for my big brother Bill I discovered that I could not find sentiment stamps that said what I wanted to relay. So, being Beverly’s daughter, I decided to create my own stamp-line that gave card-makers like me, more options when creating their treasures. I named the stamp-line, “Iris-Inspired Sentiments”. The sentiments I initially wanted to relay were faith-focused and things my mother would say. And because the Iris was one of her favorite flowers, I named the stamp-line in her honor.
“Iris-Inspired Sentiments” has become “Iris-Inspired Stamps” to encompass our growth to more than faith-based sentiments and the addition of images. With our latest additions we hope to broaden the materials available to card-makers allowing them to create personal cards for diverse recipients.
