Inspirations

My life’s biggest inspiration by far has always been my mother, Beverly A. Johnson.  She inspired me in every way but she was endlessly creative. She envisioned how she wanted something to look or function and then she set out to bring her vision to life and didn’t let anything stop her.  She was a fearlessly creative

She could do it all:  seamstress, baker, cake decorator, milliner, upholsterer, excellent cook etc.  Maxi Dresses, Prom Dresses, Bridesmaid Dresses, Suits, Formal Wear, Casual Wear, Draperies, Wedding Cakes, Hats, etc.  She was AWESOME!

What she didn’t know she learned

from research, or she sought counsel from someone who had the knowledge.  It never occurred to her that she couldn’t do something.  If it had never been done, she thought she should be the first to accomplish it.  She also didn’t limit herself to doing things the way they had always been done or taught. Often, she adjusted established techniques or methods so they would work better or create a better product.

That was my Mother and oh, how I miss her. Breast Cancer claimed her life before I started making cards, but she would have loved it for me and I’m sure she would be right here giving me grand ideas.

From the beginning, my biggest source of card-making inspiration, has been my Big Brother, Bill.  Many of the cards I make are for him.  He has not only supported my Tangible-Treasures blog but the creation of my stamp line as well and he has done so in tremendous ways.  He has the BEST advice and AWESOME ideas!

He too inherited my mother’s creativeness, and his talents and creativity are overwhelming in both number and depth.

He can do ANYTHING he decides he wants to conquer.  He is a seamster, a fabulous cook, baker, wordsmith, musician: sax and guitar, author, etc.  He is constantly hungry to learn new things and soaks up knowledge like a sponge.

Oh, and did I mention that he is also kind and a fabulous human being?  Simple put my brother Bill is Some Kind Of Wonderful.

If you want a GREAT READ check out his book, “Mark Of The Beast”, by William Johnson on Amazon Books or simply click this link:  “Mark Of The Beast”.  It’s a crime thriller that you won’t be able to put down.  It will have you guessing until the very end.
