09 Jul FAITH Easel Card
I made this easel card to encourage a sweet young lady. I know what you’re thinking, another easel card. I certainly seem to be gravitating toward easel cards lately. I guess I wanted to give her the option to set the card on a desk etc. and be able to look at it and be encouraged without having to get it out and reread it, if she desired.
The image is, “Praying Woman” from the Iris-Inspired Stamps collection by Tangible-Treasures. I masked the image and inked the background with Squeezed Lemonade, Distress Ink. I colored the image with Copic markers. (Specific Copic colors used listed below.) The Faith sentiment is again from Iris-Inspired Stamps by Tangible-Treasures which I stamped in Versafine, Onyx Black ink and heat embossed it using Mystic Fire embossing powder. Wanting to add some sparkle, I sprayed the front card panel with Iridescent, Glitter Dust. Next, I used Diamond Stickles on her fingernails and earrings, and the Wink of Stella, Clear Glitter Brush on her lips and eyes.
For the second layer, I dry embossed Stardream Metallic, Crystal 105 lb cover paper using the Creative Expressions, Beaded Fanfare embossing folder.
The inside sentiment is an Our Daily Bread (now Divinity Designs) stamp of Isaiah 41:10, from the “Scripture Collection1” stamp set. I stamped and embossed it just like the outside sentiment and cut it out using Lawn Fawn’s, Large Stitched Square set.
(Copic Markers Used: Skin – E11/25/13; Hair – E27/18/79; Top – BV11/V17/V09; Lips – R83/85/59)
Until Next Time,
Stamp Yourself Happy!
